Our residents live in host homes in the urban core of Knoxville for the duration of the program. Our host families believe in and live out the mission of Telos and provide safe environments for residents to learn and grow.
Telos Residency is an immersive experience. This means that your living environment for the duration of the program is very important to us. Our host families are hand selected by our director as people who embody the vision and values of Telos Residency. Your host will not be your program mentor, however, many of the residents will develop meaningful relationships with their hosts that will support and bless them during the residency program.
Each resident will be placed in a host home and will live rent free for 10-months. Each home includes a private room (may be shared with another resident if space permits), free wifi, and utilities. Most of our host homes are located within 2 miles of downtown Knoxville. Due to the nature of host homes, the conditions and amenities may vary, however, we guarantee a safe and comfortable situation for both our residents and our hosts.
