In 2019, Charley and Nichole moved from Chicago to plant microchurches in the urban core of Knoxville. He serves as the Pastor of Sheperding and Teaching for a passionate and experimental family of missionaries and microchurches called Commonwealth Knoxville.

Charley was born in New England and raised in Chicago. He and Nichole met while they were college athletes at Michigan State (Go Green!) and Alabama (Roll Tide!). They married in 2015 and have two sweet girls.

Charley holds a Master of Divinity with a Specialization in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He loves hiking, fly fishing, reading books, and drinking great coffee. He is passionate about mentoring and coaching people to find and pursue their place within the mission of God.
